  • This is me and my style!

Welcome! Thank you for taking time to visit my page. Let me start by telling you about me.
I am a mother to two beautiful girls. I am also a wife to my best friend of 8 years. I am excited to announce that I have completed the nursing program and passed my state boards!! I am about as care-free as they come. I'm always on the look out for a new location and with photography, the possibilities are endless! As much as I love my camera and the art of photography, my family comes before anything.
Stay tuned in for any special announcements or previews and don't forget to visit my facebook page as well!

What I’ve been up to lately…….

YES!!!! I’m still a photographer:)You wouldn’t believe the amount of people who have asked me that question.  I love being a nurse. It is so rewarding and I’ve never been happier! However photography will always be in my heart and I will not simply STOP because I am a nurse.   My time may be more limited but I will do my best to make time for my valued clients! I haven’t had time to do a blog after each session that I’ve had in the past month so here are  a few images from everything I’ve done so far in October and November.  Enjoy:)

A Father’s Influence

I had the pleasure of meeting up with a past co-worker/friend this past weekend in Galesburg IL.   Brandy contacted me last year to photograph her two children Macie and Isaac.   This year was a bit more challenging on my end, however when dad showed up we had a completely different set of kiddos:)Amazing! Thanks Waylan for joing us and bringing out those wonderful smiles! Here are some images from our session.  See if you can tell when dad was present…..

10-01-2011

Slowly but surely I am healing from having major surgery on my skull/spinal cord (May 23, 2011).  I’m  gradually getting back into the swing of things.  So I was thrilled when a very close friend of mine contacted me for her engagement session.   I am happy to share some images from that session and I must add, they picked a great date to get hitched (Oct. 1st)……..this year my husband and I will be celebrating our 6th anniversary on that very same day!

Mr. & Mrs. Bott

I must start by thanking the family and friends of Kevin & Brittany. They were so fun and laid back! Even though this was  a long 12hr. day, being in their company made it fly by! Here are some of the images from Mr. & Mrs. Bott’s special day.

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Bott!

Finally!!

May 23rd could not get here quick enough.  As it nears I am flooded with a mix of emotions.  I am nervous, sad, happy……  come on already!  I graduate on May 20th, full coverage wedding on 21st, day with family on 22nd, and surgery on May 23rd.

We have been waiting for this for 2 years now.  My neurosurgeon gave a time frame of 2 months for a recovery period, however I will be going before then:)I am not scheduling any sessions from May 22nd to the 2nd week in June.  I will keep you all posted as I am able and I want to thank each and everyone  of you for your thoughts and prayers! It means so much to me and also to our family!
